Horizon Environmental Ltd are looking for a reliable and dedicated Asbestos Removal Operative to work for our company in the South-East of England.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the supervisor, contracts manager, and experienced operatives.
  • Ensure all work is performed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Execute all site tasks according to the work plan, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain and achieve accreditations.
  • Assist in the construction, decontamination, and deconstruction of asbestos enclosures.
  • Remove and dispose of both licensed and non-licensed asbestos-containing materials, such as garage roofs, textured coatings, floor tiles, bitumen adhesives, boards, and pipe lagging.
  • Provide professional service consistently.
  • Participate in specific training required for on-site tasks (e.g., Confined Space Training).

    Job Requirements

    • Must be 18 years or older.
    • Own transport is essential.
    • Full clean driving license required.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience.
